We engaged in some thoughtful discussion about how to approach the starting basis for projects in each one of our tests.
-
Tintin Nguyen's idea to use the XML projects from the Regulatory & Software Validation committee's work is a solid one that has a lot of potential and would help this initiative to more closely align with the manual testing efforts.
-
There is a possibility we could export all of the XML projects from the manual testing efforts and import those project settings to the tests prior to starting the test. Adam De Fouw will think about the implications of using XML project imports as basis in the test suite as a whole.
-
Adam De Fouw will pull down Tintin Nguyen's pull request and look at the impacts. Let's finalize this decision in next subcommittee meeting.
-
Current #create_cdisc_project method (https://github.com/aldefouw/redcap_cypress/blob/master/cypress/support/commands.js#L390-L407) requires you to create a project ID. The way we are doing is to make use of the auto-increment within MySQL database.
-
Not sure if this is a robust way to proceed. There was a suggestion made that we could reference the project by name instead and then perform a lookup of the project
