How to translate VisiCut

t-oster edited this page Mar 25, 2013 · 2 revisions
  1. Get the latest and greatest source of VisiCut from Git:

git clone --recursive git://github.com/t-oster/VisiCut.git
  1. Look for files named XXXX_de_DE.properties in folders like `src/com/t_oster/visicut/gui/resources` and `src/com/t_oster/visicut/gui/beans/resources`.

  2. Copy each file to a file ending with your locale, e.g.: `MainView_de_DE.properties` -> `MainView_nl_NL.properties`, open it in your favorite text-editor and translate everyithing on the right side of the "=" sign

  3. (optional) Test your translation by running: ant jar and java -jar dist/VisiCut.jar

  4. Submit your translation by either mailing me the files to thomas.oster at rwth-aachen.de, or create a fork and a pull request on GitHub (see [Development: Getting started](https://github.com/t-oster/VisiCut/wiki/Development:-Getting-started) for more details on pull-requests).
