Secondary Account Creation and Vehicle Activation (Mobile)

Preconditions:

• Have the FordPass mobile app installed on your device.
• Have access to a secondary email account
• Have your VIN number

Steps:

1. Open FordPass App:

   • Launch the FordPass mobile application on your device.

2. Account Logout:

   • Navigate to your account settings.
   • Log out from your current account.

3. Create a New Account:

   • Click on "Create an Account" option.
   • Provide a new email address (avoid using a "+") and proceed.

4. Email Verification:

   • Verify the provided email address within 2 hours.
   • During verification, provide your name and create a password for the new account.

5. Confirmation:

   • Confirm successful account creation.
   • Log in to your new FordPass account using the created credentials.

6. Add Vehicle:

   • Enter the VIN number of your vehicle.
   • Wait for the app to find your vehicle.
   • Proceed through the prompts to activate your vehicle within the app.
   • When prompted; Tap "Request Access" to request access from your main account.

7. Authorization:

   • Log in to your main FordPass account.
   • Authorize your new account to access and control your vehicle.
