There are two color version of this plot: monochromatic and polychromatic. The first one shows trend in time - the bluer line the more recent it is, I think it will be useful to show change of calibration of devideces in time, the other one uses broader color space and is useful to distinct failed experiments (on Michael plots we can see that orange and pink do not fit as good as the others)
