#Booting The booting procedure occurs when attempting to start communications with the crate. Two programs, boot and poll2, will go through this process. A log file from the XIA API is generated during this process and contains useful debugging information. If an error is encountered at this stage please refer to the pixie16msg troubleshooting page for more information.

#Analysis ##utkscan utkscan has a number of legacy quirks that one must keep in mind while trying to analyze data. You can find a list of common problems here.
