Master course blog: Classiques et numériques
This year our project involves two master programmes, "Création et édition numérique" (Université Paris VIII, Vincennes Saint-Denis) and our own "Humanités classiques et humanités numériques" (Université Paris X, Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense). Working towards an enriched online edition of passages from the Odyssey dealing with the theme of seduction, our group is in charge of curating the corpus (in TEI files), i.e. selecting passages in the original text, aligning them with French translations, encoding named entities, and associating relevant textual, visual or multimedia documents. To collect and communicate the metadata, we use an Omeka database, while we collaborate through Trello and DropBox.
