Integrates the owner-approved production-readiness PRs #12–30 while preserving every reviewed head and the tested aggregate conflict resolutions. The branch is retargeted to main for one coherent merge; the original PRs retain their focused review diffs and commits.
Agent and contributor guidance still described rename mode, planned pyrefly support, retired bt022 tox factors and automatic documentation deployment. This updates AGENTS.md (also used by the CLAUDE.md symlink), PLANS.md, the living feature plans and contributor/tool documentation to match the implemented four-checker, CPU/GPU and installed-artifact validation contract.
The owner approved the production merges and selected full native union composition through supported upstream integration, with a later candidate allowed, plus explicitly limited native CuPy static support. The current rc0 dependency remains until a concrete fix is validated. A checked-in
tools/probe_union.pyretains the unresolved failure. Pages pushes now build but skip deployment; explicit dispatch controls deployment and its write permissions.All 19 reviewed PR heads are preserved in this branch's history, including late evidence-only commits. Merge conflicts were limited to plan progress/approval records. Runtime source, tests, dependency metadata and lock bytes match the previously validated candidate.
Validation: 1,097 local tests passed, five visible CuPy/platform skips, 92% rounded coverage; all four checker batches included. Full hooks and actionlint pass. Docs build verifies rendered structures and 93 Python 3.10 snippets. The union probe fails with the documented stale N binding. The rebuilt wheel SHA256 remains c1806203da013c9eaf2482a309c686a984c0a7031a495efbd100a824536b57d2, matching the exact GPU-tested artifact; the updated source archive receives fresh hosted installed-consumer validation.
The approved merge will preserve focused review history through the aggregate. Publication, ownership transfer and repository/environment settings are separate from this merge.
Hosted validation run 34229100275 completed all 36 jobs successfully at 9c29dd6, including fresh installed consumers at both Python endpoints.
