pyfvcom
A collection of various tools which can be used to extract, analyse and plot input and output files from FVCOM.
PyFVCOM is most easily installed with pip:
pip install PyFVCOM
Alternatively, you can download and manually install it from GitHub.
The repository contains Jupyter (iPython) notebooks showing how to read FVCOM data and process the outputs.
Reading in and plotting data is illustrated in this notebook
An example plot below shows tidal ellipses derived from FVCOM compared against equivalent ones from POLPRED.
