A Python Lagrangian particle tracking framework written against FVCOM outputs, with more models to follow.
- Advects particles in 3D with and without horizontal and vertical diffusivity
- Includes a random walk model
- Add Lagrangian Coherent Structure routines
- e.g. the Finite Time Lyapunov Exponents (FTLE) and Finite Size Lyapunov Exponents (FSLE).
- Add support for other structured and unstructured grid models e.g. NEMO.
The code is available from PML's GitHub.
