Which versions of Mac OS X do you support?

We officially support the latest two releases of Mac OS X (that is, Mac OS 10.3 "Panther" and Mac OS 10.4 "Tiger" at the time of this writing).

Official support means that we provide binary SDKs for these OS versions, and use them as internal development and testing platforms.

Coin should also work on earlier Mac OS X versions (10.1 and upwards), but you have to build it yourself. (If you have some basic experience using the Terminal and configure/make, this should be straightforward. Please refer to the Coin website for source code download and build instructions.) Binaries of official Coin releases for earlier versions of Mac OS X can be made available at the request of Coin PEL holders.
