Peak tailing fronting resolving

When fronting and tailing peaks were isolated as separate peaks, these peaks should be resolved into the main peaks using a method shown in this page.

Theory

In the IPA parameter spreadsheet, $PARAM0017 = l_{4}/z$ is used to adjust the power of the peak resolving algorithm. To skip the peak tailing and fronting resolving module, 0 should be selected for this parameter. On the other hand, when the maximum extreme of 0.05 is used tiny well-separated peaks may get merged into the main peak.

Example

The IDSL.IPA method utilizes local minima on the chromatogram to define peak boundaries.
