Dav127 is an open-source web application platform to display and interactively navigate complex genetic datasets.
Core software development work is provided by:
- AgriBio, Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR), Victoria, Australia;
- Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Canberra, Australia.
Project funding is provided by:
The volume of data produced for analysis by researchers is increasing regularly. While automated techniques provide a steady baseline of insights to datasets, the role of the researcher is paramount to drive research and development. Dav127 provides an environment to traverse complex genetic datasets, and expedite research outcomes.
The core of the Dav127 application is a flexible visualisation engine to manipulate genetic data. Dav127 can be run locally on your own machine, or launched on a server for use by multiple researchers.
A longer-term goal is for each Dav127 platform to optionally act as a data warehouse for other Dav127 platforms, fostering increased collaboration and data sharing.
