We use a subset of the FMA that was translated into the OWL and is provided through the OBO Foundry:

Note that the OBO subset uses different naming conventions for classes and properties. Class IRIs end on 'FMA_####', where '####' stands for the FMA identifier number. Property IRIs end on 'fma#property_name', where 'property_name' stands for the name of the property with words being linked by underscores. This may create confusion when working with ontology editors where general naming conventions can be defined for the whole ontology.
