PROV-O: The PROV Ontology

PROV-O is an RDF expression of the PROV Data Model, designed to model provenance information. Provenance is understood by the PROV-DM authors as "information about entities, activities, and people involved in producing a piece of data or thing, which can be used to form assessments about its quality, reliability or trustworthiness."

PROV-DM and PROV-O are both developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
