WordPad hidden treasure

WordPad is currently simple RTF editor - included with Windows. However it has one important usage:
It can show/edit Unix text files (Notepad shows them as single long line)
Under Windows 10 there are few surprises, so here are few ways how to run WordPad:

from CMD, issue:
"%ProgramFiles%\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe"
WARNING! Above Folder is NOT on Windows PATH, so just typing
wordpad
in CMD does not work! -
Using Windows Search:
- Press
Win
+S
- type
word
- there should be highlighted
Best Match
->WordPad
- press
ENTER
to run WordPad
- Press
-
Using Open with....
- right-click file you want to open with WordPad
- choose
Open with
->Choose another app
- if there is no
WordPad
visible then click onMore apps
- select
WordPad
, if you want, you may also check onAlways use this app to open .abc files
And - that's all.
