A Brief History

The history of the Galaxy is far to extensive and complex to all be properly recorded and archived in one place. This timeline functions as a brief series of bulletpoints of every major event or milestone. It's worth mentioning that while every species has it's own standard for keeping time. This is in humanity's calendar for ease of reading.

-10,000 BC - 0 AD

  • ??? to 10,000 BC - Carbon dating on some one-star drones show them to be at least older than human history.
  • ??? BC- Unathi primitive society begins first steps towards civilization.
  • ~5000 BC - Skrell primitive society begins first steps towards civilization.
  • ~3000 BC - Humanity goes from nomadic hunter-gatherer society to building first civilizations.
  • ~1000 BC - Theorized emergence of the Unathi Unity.
  • ~450 BC - Theorized Founding of the Unathi Dominion.
  • ~300 BC - Tajaran tribal society begins first steps towards civilization.
  • ~200 BC - Qerr’Glia bloodline is overthrown, decentralizing Skrellian society into castes.

0 AD - 2000 AD

  • ~200 AD - Teshari people migrate across Shekha.
  • ~1300 AD - Teshari Age of Sorrow begins
  • ~1350 AD - Teshari Age of Sorrow Ends
  • ~1600 AD - First recorded Skrellian space flight project to prevent further ecological decay.
  • ~1600 AD - Skrellian first ventures into biomodding to adapt to extra-Qerrian planets and habitats.
  • ~1800 AD - Malish-Katish Physicists hypothesize a quantum subspace, later known as Bluespace.
  • ~1850 AD - First Skrellian Bluespace travel.
  • ~1970 AD - Teshari invest as many resources and minds as they can into spaceflight, to stave off overpopulation crisis.
  • ~1980 AD - Dominion work into space travel begins, but quickly reaches hurdles.
  • ~1990 AD - Skrell make contact with Unathi, trading technology and knowledge for a binding defense pact.

2000 AD - Current Day

  • ~2050 AD - Humanity seriously invests in space flight to preserve the species.
  • ~2070 AD - Humanity makes advances into cryogenic medical treatment.
  • ~2090 AD - Tajaran begin efforts into extra-planet colonization and habitats.
  • ~2100 AD - Tajaran begin efforts to contact the Teshari.
  • ~2105 AD - Teshari send probe to Tajaran moon to investigate signals.
  • ~2107 AD - Teshari and Tajaran make first contact.
  • ~2150 AD - Quantum Communication becomes standard to connecting the Sol system
  • ~2175 AD - Humanity inhabits all of Sol's inner system.
  • 2193 AD - GenTech reveals SASI in press conference, leading to Positronic citizenship debates and laws.
  • 2220 AD - Humanity begins the BSG Construction project between Sol and Tau Ceti.
  • ~2240 AD - Humanity sees it's first cosmetic genetic modding.
  • 2270 AD - Humanity's first BSG is completed successfully transports a bottle of spirits at FTL speeds.
  • ~2300 AD - Tajaran and Teshari begin discoveries and applications of Bluespace.
  • 2328 AD - Skrellian first contact forces foundation of Solgov.
  • ~2340 AD - Humanity's first contact with the Zorren.
  • ~2350 AD - Tajaran and Teshari discover humanity, form the TTA to make first contact.
  • ~2351 AD - Skrellian first contact with the Vulpkanin.
  • ~2360 AD - The Antelope Incident forces first contact with the Sergal and Nevrean.
  • ~2370 AD - First known record of the Church of Mekhane.
  • 2372 AD - First human test of Soulcrypts.
  • 2391 AD - ICC forms after the Proxima Centauri Famine Crisis.
  • 2399 AD - Church of Mekhane turns from an obscure cult to a more publicly known entity.
  • 1/7/2419 AD - The Northern Light Crashes onto Virgo Prime.
  • 8/5/2419 AD - The Northern Light is sold as it's own private exploration vessel with millions invested by wealthy citizens or company's.
  • 12/19/2419 AD - The Northern Light's Maiden Voyage.
