xAPI Version References in cmi5

The group discussed how the xAPI specification should be referenced in the cmi5 specification given that there are 2 versions of xAPI.

• Should cmi5 1.x be revised to reference xAPI 2.0 (or stay ambiguous)?
• Differences between xAPI 1.x and 2.0
• How does the CATAPULT test suite check for cmi5 conformance with regards to xAPI spec /header versions?
• Is an xAPI profile expected to be forward and backward compatible?
