Testing Requirements Document

The group resumed work on the cmi5 testing requirements document. Sections 9.6.2.1 cmi5 Category Activity thru 9.6.2.2 moveOn Category Activity were covered.

Issue #565 - cmi5 Registration Id Requirement for All Statement Contexts

The group discussed this issue and found that section 10 is not the best place to resolve it (in a future cmi5 release).

Instead, language requiring registration in all statements should be added to sections 7.1.3 (AU) and 6.3 (LMS).

Statement ID for LMS Requirement

In the course of reviewing the registration id, it was also found that there is no specific requirement for the LMS to provide a statement id. Although the xAPI specification states that a statement issued without and statement id, would get one automatically assigned (by the LRS), the group determined that it would better make it a requirement in a future release.
