AU Flow Narrative

The group continued its work on the AU Flow Chart Narrative.

Conformance Testing

The current state of xAPI conformance testing was reviewed.

• ADL xAPI Adopter Registry - Shows which LRS have passed conformance testing with the xAPI test Suite - See https://adopters.adlnet.gov/products/all/0
• xAPI Conformance Test - Creates a certificate upon successfully passing tests - LRS vendors can self report to get in the Adopter registry - see - https://lrstest.adlnet.gov/verify/

cmi5 conformance testing would probably adopt similar aspects of the xAPI conformance program. Since xAPI conformance is a prerequisite to cmi5 conformance, an LMS would need to do the following to self-test:

1. Get LRS certificate (xAPI test suite) - Self Report xAPI conformance Results
2. Perform the cmi5 test procedure with the cmi5 test suite
3. Self-Report cmi5 conformance Results

If a 3rd Party testing agency could be established, they could perform formal certification with the above steps and documentation how the tests were conducted.
