Notes
Multiple Scored/Passed/Complete/Fail Statements
This issue was tabled until next week’s meeting.
Issue #281 – Other Launch Environments
The cmi5 spec has a section for “other launch environments” to accommodate different operating systems. Currently there is only one launch environment using a “URL launch”. The section was left in a place holder to add other launch environments. In previous meetings it was discussed how the URL launch method could be used in different operating systems by configuring the “protocol” portion of a URL to hand non-browser applications. Given that most operating systems have this capability, it appears that the URL launch method in flexible enough for most potential operating systems and environments.
The group agreed to adjust the following sections as a result of this issue:
Remove the following section titles:
- 8.1 Web (Browser) Environment
- 8.1.1 Launch Method
With this section title:
- 8.1 Launch Method
cmi5 community promotion
Chris Amyot has proposed using the “Slack” system for chat/discussion/messaging between weekly telconferences. Members of the team agreed to try it out and evaluate using it. People interested in joining the cmi5 slack domain can send an email to [email protected] requesting a Slack invite. The README.md will be updated to reflect this.
