Notes

The group discussed the following changes to both specifications:

CMI-5 Course Structure - General

  • Make all ID's = IRI's
  • Make an XML structure for LangString using RFC 5646 (All titles and descriptions to use LangString)

CMI-5 Course Structure – Section 7.1.4 AU Meta Data

  • Use (AU) LaunchMethod for different environments (instead of adding new elements to CourseStructure)
  • Expand value space for new environments as they are developed.
  • Use Existing values for web browsers (NewWindow, ExistingWindow)
  • (AU) Description - A detailed description of the subject matter and learning activities covered by the AU.

CMI-5 Runtime – Section 10.0 XAPI State Data Model

  • Add LaunchParameters to section
  • Add references to CMI-5 Course Structure specification for LaunchMethod
